- Senior Lotus Notes Administrator maintained all the servers and clients up to date with versions up to 8.5.
- Integrated LEI Quickr and Sametime and setup of the Sametime Gateway to open our reach to Partners and Customers as well as Google and AOL.
- Designed and Implemented a DR solution that worked flawlessly the 4 times we needed it (3 Hurricane scares and 1 UPS failure) with a cold site in GA, we were able to move all the operation including Notes, Website, CRM and File Systems.
- Helped design and implement a VOIP solution using Cisco and then designed and implemented improved telephony services to expand in a cost effective manner using Trixbox Open Source to provide Conferencing, Remote Office Users access to our PBX's.
- Redesigned the Corporate Website Content Management System in Lotus Notes to incorporate all the SEO elements including webcasting capabilities that were missing from our previous CMS which generated and increased traffic in 20% and increased the number of visitors coming from referring sites and search engines by 30 %.
- Supervised a team of 2 staff members for support of 160-user help desk.

Oversaw day-to-day operations of Information Technology department for billion-dollar distributor of computer equipment in Latin America. Performed as Senior Network Technical Support, Lotus Notes
Administrator and Database Developer for region with 1500 users and 21 servers with centralized domain. Served as single point of contact for resolution of internal and external network failures. Managed server set up and registration including hardware selection, NT configuration, file structure security and DCHP. Supervised team of 4 staff members for support of 300-user help desk.
- Managed 2-year Wide Area Network implementation serving 5 Miami and 11 Latin American locations with over 1500 users, with exceptional cost reduction and increased productivity.
- Designed and implemented 300+ user Local Area Network from 10 base T to 100 base T, improving local network speed and efficiency.
- Provided Virtual Redundancy Routing Protocol (VRRP) to give CHS redundancy path capabilities through 2 Internet connections.
- Developed registration databases allowing IT staff in each branch to register new Lotus Notes users, enhancing administration capabilities.
- Formed negotiation team to discuss implementation of Fiber Network Ring to link five locations over fiber with Intermedia Communications ICI that dramatically reduced long distance and local rates.
- Negotiated with MCI WorldCom to link Internet, long distance, and WAN from Miami operations to Latin America, reducing communication cost in voice by 15% and data by 45%.
- Designed reporting database for Y2k compliance to collect information on equipment and infrastructure. System was eventually implemented to 120 countries as centralized depository for management reporting.
